Overview

We want you to be satisfied with every cover letter you generate through LetterShot. If something goes wrong, we are here to make it right. This policy outlines the circumstances under which you can request a refund and how the process works.

Technical Defects — Unconditional Refund

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from receiving your cover letter, you are entitled to a full, unconditional refund. Technical defects include:

  • PDF file fails to generate or cannot be downloaded.
  • The generated PDF is corrupted, blank, or otherwise unusable.
  • Payment was processed but no cover letter was delivered.
  • Duplicate charges for a single generation.

No questions asked. Simply contact us and we will issue your refund immediately.

Dissatisfied with Quality

If you are not satisfied with the quality of your generated cover letter, we will first offer a free regeneration at no additional cost. This allows you to try a different tone or emphasis to better match your needs.

If, after the free regeneration, you are still not satisfied, we will issue a full refund. We believe in the quality of our service, and we would rather give your money back than leave you with a product you cannot use.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to support@getlettershot.com with the following information:

  • Your payment confirmation or transaction ID (from your receipt email or Lemon Squeezy).
  • A brief description of the issue (technical defect or quality concern).
  • The email address associated with your purchase (if applicable).

Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved, the refund will be processed within 5–10 business days. The refund will be returned to the original payment method. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to reflect the refund on your statement.

Exceptions

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original purchase. We reserve the right to decline refund requests that show a pattern of abuse, such as repeatedly generating and downloading cover letters and then requesting refunds.
